I cant even tell you how many times people came up to us and asked us about the boat.
One day a fisherman on the shore stopped fishing and got in his truck and raced over to the dock when he saw we were coming back to the landing, just to get a closer look and ask us all about it. Almost every time we went out people admired it. It was such a common occurrence that the first time someone didn't comment on it, we both mentioned it on the way home.

Hi Jeff!
I thought I'd send you a couple of pictures of our boat after the tornado last Tuesday. It's out there still floating!! Great Boat!!

Hello Jeff & family,
Hard to believe it's been over two months since we met and picked up our Little River Boat from you. It's by far the best investment we have made. Absolutely love it! As you can see from the photos below I couldn't resist cruising around the Cruise ships anchored in Bay Harbor in Acadia National Park in Maine.
Since Cathy had to stay onshore to take the pictures Snoodles kept looking back for her.
We put in around 50 hours out on the water during our trip. Got a little rough at times on Lake Superior, Lake Huron and the Atlantic Ocean but we had a blast. Smaller lakes and rivers can be a challenge too when other boaters think it’s a race course. We just turned sideways to the wakes and then continued on. Kind of like riding a roller coaster up and down.
Everyone was amazed that we could pull it with our little Honda Fit.

"PROBLEM WITH BOAT"
The only problem I seem to have is I just can't ride it enough. The boat is perfect and exactly what I wanted. I have given all the brochures to neighbors around the lake. They seemed to be very interested. Maybe I will get to see you soon. I just wanted to let you know that the family is loving it. So happy I found Little River Boats.
You've never seen anything like it!

Jeff,
Just wanted to let you know how much my wife & I enjoyed our visit with you yesterday. I would also like to compliment you and your crew on the construction of the boat. As someone who has been fabricating things for most of my life, I understand the amount of work and dedication that is required to be able to build something nice.
I would also like to thank you for taking the time to personally deliver the boat. Your business model and attitude are rare in today's world. I am glad and proud to be able to help support a family owned & run business here in the US.
To say I am satisfied with my purchase would be a gross understatement. Had the boat out today for the first trial. Was not planning on having a full boat, but things just worked out that way, lol. Had my nephew & his friends on the boat. Could not be happier with how the boat handled and performed. I will consider upgrading my trolling motor to 55lbs thrust as you had suggested. Actually, the 30lb thrust I have did ok.
It unloaded and loaded as easily as you claimed it would. It was so relaxing that I didn't even fish for the first couple hours. It was nice to just sit back, comfortably I might add, and cruise around the lake. Even with four of us, there was still room to move around and for all of us to fish. I added up everyone's weight, took a good estimate on all the gear, battery, ect. I would say we were looking at around 780lbs total.
Your claim of 800lbs max weight I think is a very fair claim, no exaggeration. It handled it very well. No sense of being overloaded, or even close to the boats capacity. I am convinced it would draft in 4" or less fully loaded. Even with the 3 of them at the front of the boat, there were no issues. No sense that it was nose heavy, or that it wasn't ok to do that. His 3 buddies were quite impressed with the boat, and thought I had purchased the perfect boat for our style and the places we fish.
I would also like to mention one other thing. I have to admit, I can be quite critical of some of the items I purchase. As one who fabricates things, there are certain qualities I look for in the things I purchase, especially items in this kind of price range. The last item that I purchased, and felt this satisfied with was in 1992 when I purchased a new Harley Davidson. It feels very good knowing that my hard earned money was well spent, and having met you in person and learning a bit about your company, just makes it better. Thank you for making a quality product and doing it here in the US. It gives me hope for the future. Keep up the excellent work. Your family should be very proud of the product you are selling, it is fast becoming a rare commodity in today's world.
When my brother makes it home to do some fishing, I will send you a couple pictures. Again, thank you, and please be sure to tell everyone involved back at the shop they are doing an excellent job.
